Curse

Hi there,

So, I have been doing some research about a Rt/N and found two things that intrest me. I don't have the money at the time to make a necromancer, so I am making do with my ritualist (with whom, i do love to play). The builds I have looked at are the following:

The Minion Bomber build:

(I would be using the factions skills bar because I only have factions).

This got me thinking of another build. I couldn't find anything about it posted, so I will explain it.
I was thinking a SV (instead of SS since again, only factions here) rt/n. I thought it sounded fun. Any advise? Maybe some build suggestions?

I mainly use my ritualist for PvP. Mostly AB. So which would be better in this situation: Minion Bomber or SV?

I know it's confusing, but please try to lend me some insight. Thanks!!

Oh, and P.S. I am taking this decision very seriously because I do not want to spend money on skills that I will not end up using. Please, keep this in mind.

in AB id suggest the minion bomber build, it would be much more effective than a 12 curses SV

Spoil victor is for instagibing bosses/high-health opponents I find. for AB minions > everything else (except more minions and shadowstepping gankers).

Enfeebling blood. Rest rit skills. Don't use MMs in a movement game.
If it is just between the 2 builds, go with SV. Anything but MM

OP, you might be interested in these builds or a variation of them. Seen these quite a few times in AB. (Just switch out the res for something else)

Sorry about how off topic this is, but...

What about a Rt/R idea? I was thinking using a bow would be fun..maybe splinter-barrage idea. It has always been floating around my brain, I just never gave it a chance. Any thoughts on it?

Splinter Barrage I usually save for PvE when I know I'll be facing large, tightly packed mobs. You will most likely see the other side mob every now and then but usually you want to avoid them at all costs. So Splinter Barrage might not be the best idea. I think your best bet would be with a heal/support build with stuff that can help your team kill faster. Enchant removal, weakness, cracked armor, blind, ARage, Splinter on a derv/war/sin perhaps.

If you're not utilizing your primary attribute or profession's available equipment, I don't see why you'd play that profession. That said, MM and Splinter Barrage would be good builds to me, but playing SV on a Rit just seems stupid.

Let's admit, Spawning sucks.... badly. That being said, if everyone followed your advice, I don't think there would be many ritualists. >_>

There is little to nothing a Ritualist-main could offer SV that wouldn't be better served as a N/Rt with SV, including Minor Runes. From my own experiences with AB, a Necro Minion Bomber is better than a Rit MB, shocking as it is for you guys to hear me say that.

Of course, that could change in the PVE update in August-ish... But we'll see.
